All contributions submitted to Proposte e ricerche are subject to a preliminary evaluation by members of the journal's editorial team.

Articles published in the thematic section and in the Articles section are subsequently assessed by two external reviewers according to a double-blind peer-review procedure. Under this system, manuscripts are submitted anonymously to the reviewers, and the reviewers' reports are likewise transmitted anonymously to the authors.
